I've applied today for a copy of our marriage certificate ($25) and when that arrives I can pretty much go ahead and fill in the forms.

Do you have specific preferences for where you would like to adopt from? I noticed that a few countries require that the couples be infertile or have no other children, but most I think you would be eligible for.
P.S. I know you had originally mentioned China, but didn't know if that was a sure thing, or just the country you'd mentioned because it was the one you had heard about initially.
China is no. 1 for us. You have to give 3 preferences but I really don't have another! I guess I will put Thailand as a second choice and I don't know what for a third choice.
