PS Not only did I not clean up a thing, she arrived early so I had only just arrived home and hadn't even finished cleaning up the kitchen from breakfast. Let me assure you, she didn't even blink at the mess. She said she couldn't care less and I believed her. Even when she sat on the couch and got one of Ben's toys in her bottom.

Hi Sandie, met you at the FCC function recognised you from your blog. We also have started with our sw and have our second interview on the 18 May,our first went quite well she stayed about an hour and a half. Our next will also be longer and are expecting a few curlier questions. I'll look forward to seeing how your next meeting goes. Best wishes Jodi

Hi Sandie, I got here through Emma at Checking Boxes. Since she mentioned both of us in the same post I had to visit. I am very sorry that you have recently lost your Mum.
Regarding your assessment and the "knowledge of parenting" questions we have 4 sons and our sw concentrated on the differences between biological and adoptive parenting and how we were going to cope with the added layer of adoption related issues. He also spent a lot of time asking us how we were going to prepare the boys and meet their individual needs even though our new kiddies will need so much of us. We can chat if you want, email me through our blog, www.aussieopianfamily.typepad.com
all the best for your remaining interviews.
